Community

Synapse is proud to be part of the McWane family of companies. Every day presents new opportunities for our team members to make a difference in someone’s life. Synapse team members volunteer and participate in meaningful activities that improve or assist each of the communities where we live, work, and play. The Synapse Community Involvement leadership team supports several community service events throughout the year but focuses primarily on three deserving charities in our Huntsville, Alabama, community.

Community Outreach

  • Huntsville City Schools

Synapse sponsors annual employee School Supplies Drives to collect supplies to donate to local schools. The Community Outreach team has provided new supplies to more than 100 teachers since the effort began. Education professionals appreciate the support, with one teacher commenting, “Nothing like this has ever been done for us before.”

  • Jonny Stallings Art Program

The Jonny Stallings Art Program at Merrimack Hall is a nonprofit organization that provides educational and performance opportunities to children with special needs. Many of the employees at Synapse and their families are also involved with the organization. Some have children that attend, and others volunteer their time. Synapse looks forward to a growing relationship with Merrimack Hall and the wonderful people their organization serves in Huntsville.
