The Synapse SNAP Stick is designed to be a compact and easy way to connect a PC to a SNAP wireless network. SNAP Stick based on the ATMEL ATmega128RFA1 microprocessor and operates as a SNAP node in a USB dongle form – about the size of a thumb drive.
SNAP Stick is designed to act as a bridge between your SNAP network and Synapse’s wireless application development environment called Portal. Portal is a free, comprehensive administration tool for SNAP networks and can participate as a full-fledged peer on the network. SNAP Stick also provides a bridge to Synapse’s SNAP Connect PC software for Internet connectivity.
The SNAP Stick can be powered using any form of standard, powered-USB connection.
